Bottom Bracket Installation

 Grease threads of BB cups, install right cup (drive side) which will be the cup with the shoulder machined as part of the cup. To install, thread right cup in a counter clockwise direction Slide the spindle from the non drive side through the drive side bearing/cup assembly so that the shoulder the spindle is snug up against the bearing Install left non drive side cup which is the cup with the adjustable lock ring. Thread in a clockwise direction until the bearing is snug up against the BB spindle shoulder. Just as the cup gets difficult to turn and it feels like the bearing is binding STOP and back the cup off about 1/16th - 1/8th of a turn. Using a BB lock ring tool secure lock ring up against the BB shell. DO NOT FORCE! Install the crank arms. Using steel crank bolt, not supplied, tighten to 30 ft. lbs., or to crank manufactures recommended specification. Be sure to grease the bolts.
